BC technology has become a "magic weapon" for crossing cycles and breaking the roll. The photovoltaic industry has entered the stage of disruptive innovation of mainstream technology. BC technology is the development direction of crystalline silicon batteries and has been widely recognized.

 

The HPBC2.0 module products produced by LONGi Green Energy are 5% more efficient than TOPCon modules, and the efficiency of the next generation of pilot line modules is expected to be 10% higher than TOPCon.

 

BC modules are the main product of LONGi Green Energy's differentiated competition. In the first three quarters of 2024, the proportion of module shipments climbed to 27%. In the first quarter of next year, 20GW of BC second-generation production capacity will be put into the market. The shipment share is expected to increase to about one-third next year, and the market share will reach 50% in 2027-2028.

 

At present, many companies are actively deploying. LONGi Green Energy will accelerate the construction of BC battery production capacity, and Aixun's related production capacity will be put into production one after another.

 

On the market side, many companies have released BC centralized procurement bidding sections, and LONGi Green Energy and Aixun have achieved batch shipments.

 

The first photovoltaic power station equipped with LONGi HPBC2.0 technology in the country has been connected to the grid, which has obvious advantages over TOPCon power stations of the same capacity. BC batteries have better anti-local overheating effects, can be well combined with buildings, and have broad application prospects in the field of distributed photovoltaics.

 

LONGi Green Energy has launched a number of BIPV products, and relevant persons in charge predict that by 2030, a market of hundreds of billions or even trillions of yuan will be formed. More and more companies are entering the BIPV market.
