Latest! Solar N-type Silicon Wafers Fell 3.96%!

International Energy Network/Photovoltaic Headlines (PV-2005) learned that on April 25, the Silicon Industry Branch announced the latest price of monocrystalline silicon wafers this week. The average transaction price of P-type M10 monocrystalline silicon wafers (182mm/150μm) dropped to US$0.225/piece, a week-on-week decrease of 2.4%; the average transaction price of N-type M10 monocrystalline silicon wafers (183.75mm/130μm/256mm) dropped to The average transaction price of P-type G12 monocrystalline silicon wafers (210 mm/150 μm) remained at US$0.294/piece, which was unchanged from the previous week. The average transaction price of N-type G12 monocrystalline silicon wafers (210 mm/150 μm) was US$0.300/piece, down 3.96% week-on-week.

Although prices have dropped, the overall solar energy industry still maintains a positive trend, and many companies have begun to shift to the "silicon material" OEM model. The trend of integrated companies switching from self-produced silicon wafers to outsourced silicon wafers has become increasingly obvious.

On April 24, the Silicon Industry Branch announced the latest price of polysilicon materials this week. Polysilicon prices fell again this week. Among them, the transaction price range of n-type rod silicon was 6,210-7,176 US dollars/ton, and the average transaction price was 6,789.6 US dollars/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 6.29%. The transaction price range of p-type dense materials was US$5,520-6,210/ton, and the average transaction price was US$5,906.4/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 6.75%. The price difference of n/p rod silicon is US$565.8/ton, and the price difference continues to narrow. The transaction price range of n-type granular silicon was US$5,796-6,702/ton, and the average transaction price was US$5,934/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 9.47%.

Recently, the operating rates of two first-tier enterprises have been relatively stable, maintaining at 70% and 95% respectively. The operating rates of integrated enterprises have remained at around 70%-80% respectively, which also indicates that enterprises are gradually increasing their confidence in large-scale production. However, although the operating rates of these enterprises have remained relatively stable, the operating rates of other enterprises have dropped to between 45% and 80% respectively.

The current relatively stable operating rates of the two first-tier companies also reflect the optimistic trend of the solar energy industry. The company is full of confidence in the future of the solar energy industry and has also shown its continued and stable investment enthusiasm for the solar industry. At the same time, the two companies have continued to innovate and improve technology to improve the quality and output of silicon wafers, so that the decline in silicon wafer prices cannot affect the stability of the company's gross profit margin.

In addition, as the trend of integrated enterprises switching from self-produced silicon wafers to external procurement becomes more and more obvious, the price of solar N-type silicon wafers will continue to decline. This trend will also effectively promote the development of the solar energy industry and make solar products more competitive in the market. In addition, competition among enterprises will also promote the advancement of solar energy technology and product upgrades, further improving the overall quality of the market.

In general, although the price of solar N-type silicon wafers has dropped significantly, the entire solar industry still shows a stable and positive trend. Not only that, more and more companies are turning to the "silicon" OEM model, and integrated companies are also switching from self-produced silicon wafers to outsourcing. This trend will further improve the quality and credibility of solar products, and promote the progress of solar technology and the development of the industry. Therefore, the future of the solar industry will be filled with brighter prospects.
